Frequently Asked Questions

Who Marevita Is For — And Who It’s Not

Choose Marevita If:
You want uninterrupted ocean views and dramatic sunsets from your villa. You prefer quiet, cliffside living over walkable cafes. You’re planning a romantic trip or honeymoon and want the view to be the centrepiece. You’re okay trading convenience for scenery — and you see that as a good trade.

Not Ideal If:
You want to walk to cafes, gyms, or restaurants daily — the nearest options are a short scooter ride. You prefer Bingin-style village energy with community vibes. You want nightlife or social atmosphere nearby.

The Bottom Line:
Marevita is for people who want Bali to feel like an escape, not a scene. If the view matters more than walkability, this is the villa.

How Marevita Compares

Marevita vs Lago Villas (Bingin)
Marevita gives you panoramic ocean views, privacy, and a slower pace. Lago gives you walkability, cafes on your doorstep, and central Bingin energy. If your priority is view over convenience, Marevita wins. If lifestyle over scenery, Lago is the better fit. See Lago Villas →

Marevita vs Kona Villas (Nyang Nyang)
Both are in the Uluwatu area and more secluded than Bingin. Marevita is about views and scenery. Kona is about architecture and design. Choose Marevita if the ocean view matters most. Choose Kona if you care more about the villa itself than what’s outside the window. See Kona Villas →

Marevita vs Vela Villas (Canggu)
Marevita is quiet, nature-first, and removed from the buzz. Vela is social, convenient, and walkable to Pererenan’s cafes and restaurants. Choose Marevita if you’re intentionally avoiding the chaos of Canggu. Choose Vela if you want things to do daily without driving. See Vela Villas →

What You’re Trading Off

At Marevita, you gain: dramatic ocean views, privacy, space, a genuine escape feeling, and one of the most photogenic sunset spots on the Bukit.

But you give up: walkability, immediate access to cafes, and social atmosphere.

Every villa in Bali comes with tradeoffs — Marevita’s are worth it if the view is the reason you came.

Pricing & Value

Marevita sits in the $$–$$$ range — more affordable than Uluwatu’s high-end cliff resorts, but with the same ocean views and privacy. It’s a strong pick for couples who want the resort-level setting without the resort-level price.

What Our Guests Say

★★★★★ Recent guest
The ocean views from the rooftop balcony are incredible. We had our morning coffee up there every day. The design is beautiful and it feels very private, despite being right next to Six Senses and Alila. Perfect for a couple wanting the Uluwatu experience without the resort price tag.

★★★★★ Recent guest
We travelled as a group which worked perfectly and we thoroughly enjoyed staying in and enjoying the pool and ocean views.  Cabo’s team organised airport transfers, restaurant bookings, and a private chef dinner. Genuinely one of the best trips we’ve ever done.

★★★★★ Recent guest
Stayed here for our honeymoon. The villa is gorgeous with plenty of natural light, and a pool that looks over the ocean. The WhatsApp communication before and during the stay was excellent. Already planning to come back.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is Marevita Villa best for?

People who want the Bali experience without compromising on quality. If you’re used to staying at Six Senses or Alila and want a private villa with that same level of finish — but your own space, your own pool, your own schedule — Marevita is built for you. It’s also particularly well suited to groups of couples.

What’s the vibe like at Marevita Villa?

Calm, considered, and genuinely luxurious without being loud about it. White walls, ocean light, Sonos speakers on the terrace, and a pool that looks like it’s floating above the sea. It’s the kind of place where you don’t feel the need to go anywhere — and when you do, everything worth going to is close.

How does Marevita compare to staying at Six Senses or Alila Villas?

You’re neighbours — Marevita sits directly beside both, so you get the same setting and the same views. What you get that they can’t offer is complete privacy and a significantly lower price. No lobby, no other guests, no shared spaces. Your villa, your pool, your pace — without the five-star resort markup.

Should I book Marevita direct or through a platform?

Direct is better in every way. Better rate, more flexibility, and you’re dealing with people who can actually personalise your stay — airport transfers, private chefs, having everything set up before you arrive. Platforms add fees and remove the personal layer that makes a stay like this worth it.

What’s nearby? Beach clubs, restaurants, things to do?

The beach club scene on the Bukit is world-class. Savaya perches dramatically on the cliff edge and is one of the most visually striking venues in Bali. Sundays Beach Club sits right on the water and is perfect for a full beach day. Pamilla is a newer addition that’s quickly become one of the most talked-about spots on the peninsula. Uluwatu Temple is close for a late afternoon visit, and the Kecak fire dance at sunset is genuinely spectacular.

Is the area affected by the Bingin Beach demolitions?

No. The demolitions were focused on unpermitted structures on the beachfront in Bingin — a different part of the peninsula entirely. Marevita Villa is in the luxury belt of Uluwatu, alongside Six Senses and Alila. Everything here is operating normally and unaffected.

How far is Marevita from the airport?

Around 45 minutes to an hour from Ngurah Rai International. A private transfer is the easiest way to arrive — we can arrange this directly when you book with us.

Is Marevita good for a honeymoon or anniversary?

Very much so. The ocean views, the privacy, and the quality of the space create an atmosphere that doesn’t need to try hard. Several guests have chosen Marevita for exactly this reason and found it delivered on every level.

Is Marevita good for a group of couples?

It’s one of the best setups on the island for exactly this. Marevita has two king sized bedrooms perfect for two couples who are looking for a quiet getaway in Uluwatu.
